“I am very happy to join Trulli team and I am super excited about the new season and Trulli’s new powertrain Motomatica JT-01. I am hoping that we can be contending for the front positions and can’t wait to do my first test,” said 30-year-old Mexican Duran who finished last season in 21st with a sixth place in Moscow ePrix as his best result.
;
Trulli team principal Lucio Cavutto added: “We are very happy to have Salvador on board. He is the kind of driver we were looking for last year. We have been very impressed with his improvements during the championship. We really look forward to having him in our car and in the team. The fact that he knows the category well will undoubtedly prove to be an advantage for him as we won’t be able to give him a lot of time in the car during the pre-season testing.”
