Scott Pruett - the fastest driver among writers or the best writer among racers?
Scott Pruett is an American racing driver and a record holder with five overall victories at 24 Hours of Daytona. He is also a five-time Grand-Am champion, three-time Trans-Am and two-time IMSA GTO champion. Well, everybody knows everything about Scott’s titles and victories, but not many motorsport fans know that Scott is a successful vineyard owner and children’s book author.
Scott is married with Judy and they live with their three children Lauren, Taylor and Cameron in Auburn, California. Judy was an occupational therapist and spent fifteen years working with children. Few years ago she launched Word Weaver Books company and Scott hepled her to create four race-themed children’s books: Racing through the Alphabet, Rookie Racer, Twelve Little Race Cars and Twelve More Little Race Cars.
Scott and his wife also opened Pruett Vineyards in Northern California. They are not just ordinary amateur winemakers, because lots of their wines were awarded. Scott himself certainly isn’t an ordinary winemaker because he’s probably the winemaker with most racing trophies.
