Robert Dahlgren is the 2017 Scandinavian Touring Car champion

Robert Dahlgren is the winner of the 2017 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. The 37-year-old Swedish driver captured a championship title in the first STCC season under TCR regulations, driving the #3 Seat Leon for PWR Racing – Seat Dealer Team.

In the season’s finale, which took place this weekend at Mantorp Park, Dahlgren scored 8th, 6th and 3rd place. Race winners were Kristoffersson Motorsport’s Fredrik Ekblom (two times) and Fredrik Blomstedt, who finished second and third in the championship standings. In 21 races over the season, Dahlgren scored seven wins and sixteen podiums.
