Red Bull is not just a popular energy drink company but a major participant in relevant motorsports series in the world. After three consecutive F1 constructor and driver championships, Red Bull wanted to expend to other forms of racing but looking for series which are exiting, dynamic, specific and popular. The Australian V8 Supercars are just that with fleet of roaring V8 sedans, tough racing and events on interesting and exotic tracks. Red Bull look for partnership with an experienced and successful racing team and the V8 Supercars veteran crew – The Triple Eight Racing team was chosen for partner.

Qualifying
The Triple Eight Racing team is formed in 1996 and it participates in V8 Supercars series since 2003. The first success of Triple Eight was in BTCC where it dominated the series with factory backed Vauxhall race cars. From 2015 season, Triple Eight will participate in British GT Championship and Blancpain Endurance series. However, in V8 Supercars, the first title for Tripe Eight was won in 2008 using Ford FG Falcon race car. Since 2009, Triple Eight switched to Holden race cars and from 2010 until 2014 won V8 Supercars title four times in a row with famous Australian driver Jamie Whincup. The first season for Red Bull Racing Australia was 2013 and it was crowned with a series title. The red and blue race Holdens were unbeatable in 2014 and it looks like it is going to be the same this year. However, there is strong competition in likes of Volvo and Ford so after the big success in the last two seasons, Red Bull Racing Australa is heading to its biggest battle yet. This means that V8 Supercars is going to be, once again, one of the most interesting championships in the world and the best place to see powerful machines in a fierce fighting.
