Porsche Carrera Cup Germany Hockenheimring - practice
The season finale of Porsche Carrera Cup Germany will take place this weekend on well known and famous Hockenheimring track. Since the championship is already decided and Austrian Ace Phillip Eng is deservedly 2015 champion, this round will not be as important but it will still provide us with interesting racing in fastest cup championship in Germany. The race weekend started on Friday with hour long practice session. The weather was dry but temperature was low, however, that didn’t effect the drivers who posted good times. Fastest Porsche Carrera Cup Germany driver on today’s practice was talented and perspective Ben Baker with time of 1: 42.578 which was almost half of second faster than Christian Engelhart who was second fastest. The 2015 champion, Phillip Eng was third. We are glad to see Ben Baker on top spot because he is one of the most talented drivers in Porsche 991 GT3 Cup championships. He started in British Carrera Cup and now participates in Supercup and Carrera Cup Germany. This fastest time on today’s practice sessions is not luck, it is hard work and talent so we can expect that Ben Baker show us more of his talent on qualifying session tomorrow.
