  • Off-road Cars Ready for Drive

What is off-road driving?  Off-road driving is a widespread name for a variety of types of unique nature walks. Off-road driving is basically trips made in special SUVs, with the help of which it is possible to reach spectacular and special places in the country, which can not be reached in any other way. There are many areas in the country that are unfamiliar to many, areas full of impressive landscapes, isolated areas that the only way to get to and see them is through SUVs. Therefore off-road driving is highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and landscapes. It’s also for those who are thrill seekers!

Who is off-road driving suitable for?

Off-road driving is suitable, as mentioned, for anyone who loves cars and the outdoors. In the past, it was thought that off-road driving was only suitable for young people, challenge enthusiasts and extreme lovers. But today field trips are suitable for all ages and genders. You can choose routes. Extreme enthusiasts will be able to enjoy off-road driving if they choose the extreme routes, i.e. difficult routes that require skilled driving in difficult terrain conditions.

It is important to gain experience and even take courses in such an activity to be safe and to have access to the best tracks and courses. You must be able to handle uneven terrain and feel confident to do so. Learning and practicing driving in rocky terrain is an essential basis for professional and safe driving, utilizing the capabilities of your SUV and no less importantly, saves costly costs of damages that can be caused as a result of incorrect driving operations in rocky terrain that is usually unforgivable. Learning to drive in rocky terrain is an experience in itself. Improve off-road driving abilities Maximize enjoyment and meet the adrenaline flowing in the body accompanied by the confidence and safety of proper and safe driving for everyone.

The best cars for motorsports and off-road driving

You should consider looking at Bokan Auto Center first and then get inspired by some of the models around and available today. A recreational vehicle offers better capacity than that of a passenger car for trail travel; The more he is adapted to the terrain, the farther, deeper he can go and the better he can face the challenges there. Over the years, the body data has come closer to the numbers that characterize passenger cars, moving away from those required to expand the shell in the field. Yet, there are still models that give more and allow travelers to diversify and enrich their itineraries, to reach equal places that they otherwise would not have been able to visit.

Jeep Range Rover

Jeep Range Rover, offered in several vehicle versions, with different adaptations to the terrain; the front-wheel drive and dual-drive versions have different ventral spacing and vehicle angles, and the dual-drive version also has a difference between ‘standard’. For a dedicated dual-propulsion version (‘ Trailhawk ‘).

Jeep Compass

Jeep Compass offers good off-road specifications – including a power transmission system that can transfer 100% of the torque to each wheel individually – but with a problematic access angle. Because the operation of the sophisticated power transmission system works unsuccessfully (slow response time, alongside a coarse operation propulsion system).

Nissan X-Trail

This car, with engine 1.6 L diesel and four-wheel drive, but there is also an improved version with a powerful engine significantly and four-wheel drive. This four-wheel drive includes a selector that allows a choice between three propulsion modes, including a mode that simulates a central differential lock operating up to a speed of 40 km/h.

Suzuki Jimny

The second generation of the Suzuki Jimny, is a small SUV (within the K-Car category, accepted in Japan) with assemblies suitable for off-road work, including a ladder chassis. Not only is the Jimny supposed to offer the best off-road capability among the models on the list, but it’s actually one of the only off-road vehicles in serial production today.

I want an SUV, what do I need to look out for?

Ground clearance

Ventral clearance is the smallest distance between the lowest assembly in the vehicle (the “belly” of the vehicle) and the ground, in a situation where the vehicle is standing on a level road. The more ventral space the vehicle has, the more it will be able to pass unobstructed over obstacles in the terrain such as stones and bushes. The minimum headroom for SUVs is 21-20 cm in vehicles with a mild to moderate level of offense, while in more professional SUVs that are adapted to difficult terrain conditions, the headroom is larger and reaches up to 27.5 cm (and sometimes even more).

Access angle

The approach angle is the angle calculated between the ground, the front wheels and the most prominent point on the front of the vehicle (the bumper). The wider the angle, the more the vehicle will “climb” on steep roads. Across basic terrain, the access angle stands at about 30 degrees, meaning the vehicle is able to climb at a 30-degree angle with no problems.

Abandonment angle

Similar to the approach angle, the angle of departure is calculated from the rear wheels to the most prominent point in the rear of the vehicle. The wider the angle of departure, the more the vehicle will be able to “abandon” obstacles as it straightens after a descent. In most cases, the angle of departure will be slightly lower than the angle of approach.

Abdominal angle

The abdominal angle is a combination of an approach angle and an abandonment angle, i.e. the area measured between the front wheels, the center of the ventricle and the rear wheels. When the angle is wider, the vehicle will be able to pass over larger and more complex obstacles. Many SUV drivers prefer to purchase short SUVs where the belly angle is wide. Please note – even when the belly / abandonment / access angles are wide and large, there is still a reasonable chance that the vehicle will encounter an obstacle that could endanger the sensitive systems in the ventricle, so it is recommended to add a ventral protector, which on the one hand reduces ventral spacing and angles.
