ADAC GT Masters 2015 season preview
The 2015 ADAC GT Masters will be the ninth edition of the competition. Although it is still too early to assess seriously, there is no doubt that an interesting season and a lot of excitement are waiting.

Season will start at April 25th at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, and will end on 8th October at Hockenheimring. Total of 16 races will be held at eight circuits. Over eight weekends one race will be on Saturday and one on Sunday. Change from the previous year is that Slovakian Automotodrom is removed from the schedule with race at Spa Francorchamps is installed.

Prosperia Christian Abt Racing, with three titles, five race wins and eight pole positions one of the most successful teams of the past two years, waiting the start of the season as the defending Teams’ Champion. However, the final list of teams that will compete in the 2015 ADAC GT Masters has not yet been confirmed, but it is certain that Christian Abt Racing will challenge for the third title in a row, while it is expected that Drivers’ champions from last season, Rene Rast and Kelvin van der Linde again be the mainstays of the team.

The series has a new official tyre partner in Pirelli, and with the arrival on the scene of new cars and drivers, we expect to be up against really tough competition in the coming year”, says Christian Abt.

New season will bring a new cars in the competition, and one of them is Bentley. HTP Team decided that instead of the Mercedes enters the new season with the British car manufacturer. After undergoing development during the 2014 season, the luxury coupe with its 600-bhp V8 turbo engine is now ready to face the competition, starting with the season opener at Oschersleben. It is confirmed that one of the drivers being Maximilian Buhk.

“We believe that the Bentley has enormous potential and are confident that we can achieve good results in the ADAC GT Masters after the first promising tests towards the end of last year”, said Norbert Bruckner, team principal of Bentley Team HTP.

It is certain that the new car will have a team Reiter Engineering, which moved from Chevrolette Camaro to Lamborghini. Team has completed a first tests with the new ultra-wide model Gallardo R-EX. Reiter with few changes at V10 engine.

On the other hand, traditionally a very remarkable Callaway team has decided to perform with the two Corvettes Z06, the longest-serving supercar in the series and also its most successful with no fewer than 23 victories. However, it still remains unknown who will be the drivers for the new season.

After a good experience in last year, Team Zakspeed, now named Mobil Oil Team Zakspeed, is ready to enter again with two Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3s and Luca Ludwig has already been confirmed as one of the drivers.
