British GT: Davidson, Adam victorious at Brands Hatch

Graham Davidson and Jonny Adam (TF Sport, #47 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3) are the winners of the British GT Championship race at Brands Hatch, the penultimate race of the season. For Jonny Adam, it’s his 16th British GT3 and overall victory.

With this victory, they stayed championship title candidates ahead of season’s finale at Donington Park in September, six points behind Barwell Motorsport’s Phil Keen and Adam Balon, who finished fourth at Brands Hatch. Five crews remain in overall GT3 title contention, while six entries can win GT4 crown.

Davidson/Adam shared a podium with Shaun Balfe/Rob Bell (Balfe Motorsport, McLaren 720S) and Jack Mitchell/Angus Fender (Century Motorsport, BMW M6).

In the GT4 class, James Dorlin and Josh Smith (Tolman Motorsport, McLaren 570S) claimed their maiden class win to remain in contention for the GT4 title. They shared Brands Hatch podium with Callum Pointon/Dean MacDonald (HHC Motorsport, McLaren 570S) and Ashley Hand/Tom Canning (TF Sport, Aston Martin Vantage).
