Porsche Supercup at Red Bull Ring: Second win of the season for Andlauer

Julien Andlauer (BWT Lechner Racing) scored his second win of the season in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup at Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. The Porsche junior defeated his teammate and defending champion Michael Ammermüller. Larry ten Voorde (MRS GT-Racing) completed the podium of the third race of the season.

Andlauer performed perfectly at Red Bull Ring, setting the fastest times in the free practice and qualifying, and then converting pole position into new victory. At the start of the race, Andlauer shortly lost the lead to Larry ten Voorde but he returned in front quickly. In the ninth lap, of seventeen, Ammermuller overtook the young Dutchman for the second place.

Thirty drivers participated in the Austrian round. The best rookie was Marvin Klein (Martinet by Almeras) in the eighth place overall while his teammate Roar Lindland finished first in the ProAm classification and 20th overall.
