FIA Motorsport Games: GT Cup victory for Japanese Lamborghini
Hiroshi Hamaguchi and Ukyo Sasahara are the winners of the GT Cup at the inaugural FIA Motorsport Games that took place over the weekend at Vallelunga Circuit in Italy.
The duo in the #519 Lamborghini Huracan GT3, operated by Orange 1 FFF Racing Team, has won the qualifying Race 2 on Sunday morning and then the Main Race on Sunday afternoon, giving the gold medal to Japan.
Another Lamborghini crew, Andrzej Lewandowski and Artur Janosz from Poland, finished in the second place to take the silver medal. Their #66 Lamborghini was operated by Vincenzo Sospiri Racing.
The bronze medal went to Australians, father and son Stephen Grove and Brenton Grove, who were driving the #4 Porsche 911 GT3 R operated by Herberth Motorsport.
Twenty-two crews participated in the GT Cup.
