One more win for Black Falcon's Mercedes at Nordschleife
Hubert Haupt, Manuel Metzger and Maro Engel are the winners of the 58th ADAC Reinoldus-Langstreckenrennen, the seventh round of the VLN (Veranstaltergemeinschaft Langstreckenpokal Nürburgring) endurance series at Nürburgring Nordschleife.
It’s the second win of the season for Black Falcon’s #6 Mercedes-AMG GT3. At the end of the 4-hour race, they defeated the second-placed Frikafelli Racing’s #31 Porsche 911 GT3 R by 14.749 seconds. The drivers of the #31 Porsche were Norbert Siedler and Lance David Arnold. The podium was completed by Peter Dumbreck and Stef Dusseldorp who was driving the #3 Falken Motorsports BMW M6 GT3.
Two cars of Wochenspiegel Team Monschau finished close to the top, the #22 Ferrari 488 GT3 in P4 and the #11 Ferrari 488 GT3 in P6. Between them, there were second Frikadelli Racing’s car, the #30 Porsche 911 GT3 R.
149 crews participated in the race. The eighth and the penultimate round of the championship would be the 50th ADAC Barbarossapreis on October 6.
