Jesse Krohn and Connor De Phillippi took their first victory of the season in the #99 Rowe Racing BMW M6 GT3 in the 43rd DMV 4-hour race, the second round of the VLN Endurance Series at Nürburgring Nordschleife.

They crossed the finish line 8.789 seconds ahead of Black Falcon’s #14 Mercedes-Benz GT3, driven by Maro Engel, Adam Christodoulou, Manuel Metzger and Dirk Müller. Klaus Bachler and Martin Ragginger completed the podium, finishing third in the #4 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Falken Motorsport. Sheldon van der Linde and Marcel Fässler just missed the podium and finished fourth with their #29 Audi R8 LMS of Land Motorsport.

“This result is a dream. Our technical staff got a lot of work to do after our accident yesterday in the setup session. We dedicate this victory to our mechanics,” said Connor De Phillippi.

The Professional crews in class SP9-GT3 took the first ten positions. The fastest Premium car, driven by Steve Jans, Marek Böckmann and Fabian Schiller, was the #2 Gigaspeed Team GetSpeed Performance Porsche 911 GT3 R in the 11th place. The fastest car outside the SP9-GT3 class was the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup of Christopher Gerhard and Ralf Schall in class H4. In the TCR class, Andreas Gülden raced alone in the #806 Seat Cupra and won the race.

Yannick Fübrich and David Griessner of the Pixum Team Adrenalin Motorsport won the BMW M235i Racing Cup class for the second time in a row and took the championship lead.
