Two Kiwi drivers fought for the victory in the second race of the Ipswich SuperSprint at Queensland Raceway, same as the day before, but this time Shane van Gisbergen (#97 Triple Eight Red Bull Holden Commodore) defeated Scott McLaughlin (#17 DJR Team Penske Shell V-Power Ford Falcon). It’s the fourth win of the season for Shane van Gisbergen and 30th in a career.

The same two drivers are leading the championship standings after 20 of scheduled 31 races, with McLaughlin on the top, 131 points ahead of Van Gisbergen.

Chaz Mostert took the final podium place in the #55 Tickford Racing Supercheap Auto Ford Falcon, what was his first podium this year. Jamie Whincup and Fabian Coulthard completed the top 5.

The next race is the Sydney SuperNight 300 at Sydney Motorsport Park on August 3-4.
