Sekiguchi, Nakajima triumphed in Fuji 500 Miles Super GT race

Kazuki Nakajima and Yuhi Sekiguchi are the winners of the Fuji 500 Miles, the longest race of the 2018 Japanese Super GT Series.

The duo in the #36 au Tom’s Lexus LC500 won the race ahead of #1 KeePer Tom’s Lexus of Ryo Hirakawa and Nick Cassidy, who takes the lead in the championship after five rounds. Koudai Tsukakoshi and Takashi Kogure completed the podium, after starting from P14 in the #17 Keihin Real Racing Honda NSX.

The victory in GT300 class went to #55 ARTA BMW M6 GT3, driven by Shinichi Takagi and Sean Walkinshaw. Nobuteru Taniguchi and Tatsuya Kataoka finished second in the #0 Mercedes-AMG GT3. Koki Saga and Kohei Hirate completed the podium in the #31 apr Toyota Prius GT.
