Walkenhorst Motorsport's BMW wins the 70th edition of Spa 24 Hours

Philipp Eng, Christian Krognes and Tom Blomqvist are the winners of the 70th edition of the Spa 24 Hours, the world’s greatest race for GT cars and a part of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and Intercontinental GT Challenge. A trio in the #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 completed 511 laps at the iconic race track in Belgium to scored the greatest victory for the German team.

One more BMW crew reached the podium – Alexander Sims, Jens Klingmann and Nicky Catsburg in the #99 Rowe Racing BMW M6 GT3. The #29 Audi R8 LMS of Montaplast by Land Motorsport finished in the third place, driven by Kelvin van der Linder, Sheldon van der Linder and Jeffrey Schmidt.

Sixty-three cars started the race. The Pro-Am class victory went to #333 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari 488 GT3, driven by Alexander Mattschull, Rinat Salikhov, David Perel and Daniel Keilwitz. The best Silver class drivers are Alex Frassinetti, Kang Ling, Romain Monti and Andrea Rizzoli in the #12 Ombra Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3. Barwell Motorsport’s #77 Lamborghini has won Am class, driven by Leo Machitski, Adrian Amstutz, Richard Abra and Patrick Kujala.
