Josef Newgarden wins Kohler Grand Prix at Road America

Josef Newgarden (Team Penske) wins the Kohler Grand Prix at Road America, the tenth round of the 2018 IndyCar Series season. It’s the third win of the season for defending champion and his tenth victory in a career.

Newgarden started from pole in the #1 Chevrolet and triumphed in the 55-lap race ahead of two Hondas of Ryan Hunter-Reay (Andretti Autosport) and Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing). Three more Honda drivers took positions from P4 to P6: Takuma Sato (RLL Racing), Robert Wickens (Schmidt Peterson Motorsports) and Graham Rahal (RLL Racing).

The next race is the Iowa Corn 300 at Iowa Speedway, scheduled for July 8.
