Formula Renault: Wins for Lundgaard, Martins at Spa-Francorchamps

Christian Lundgaard (MP Motorsport) and Victor Martins (R-ace GP) are the winners of two races of the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup at Circuit Spa-Francorchamps, in the sixth round of the 2018 season. Lundgaard has won on Saturday, what was his second win of the season, while Martins scored his second win of the year on Sunday.

The Chinese driver Yifei Ye (Josef Kaufmann Racing) extended the lead in the championship after finishing on the podium in both races, second on Saturday and third on Sunday. Other podium-scorers were Oscar Piastri, who was third on Saturday, and Logan Sargeant, who was second on Sunday.

After six rounds and twelve races, Yifei Ye has 157 points, ten more than Lundgaard. Martin is further twenty points behind Lundgaard. The next Formula Renault Eurocup round will take place at Hungaroring on September 1-2, as a part of the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup event.
