Celebration for Attempto Racing in the second Sprint Cup race at Zolder

Kelvin van der Linde and Steijn Schothorst are the winners of the second race of the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup weekend at Circuit Zolder. The pair in the #66 Attempto Racing Audi R8 LMS started from the third place on the grid but benefited from mistakes and penalties of two crews which started in front of them in the #2 Audi and the #63 Lamborghini.

At the end, the #66 Audi crossed the finish line with 6.980 sec advantage over the #88 Akka ASP Mercedes-AMG GT3, driven by Raffaele Marciello and Michael Meadows. Andrea Caldarelli an Ezequiel Perez Companc, a pair in the #19 GRT Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan GT3, completed the podium.

The next round of the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup is scheduled for May 5-6 at Brands Hatch. In the meantime, the Endurance Cup will start with Monza 3 Hours race on April 22.
