JB Dubourg is the Andros Trophy champion for third year in a row
Jean-Baptiste Dubourg is the 2017/2018 Trophee Andros champion, conquering the ice racing championship for the third year in a row. After two titles in a Renault Clio, this year’s championship-winning car is a Renault Captur.
In this weekend’s finale at Clermont/Super Besse circuit, the 30-year-old Frenchman finished third in the Elite Pro class and secured enough points to take the title ahead of Benjamin Riviere (Peugeot 3008), who won the last event of the season. Nathanael Berthon (Audi A1 quattro) finished third in the championship after seven events which took place at seven different circuits between December 2, 2017 and February 3, 2018.
Eddy Benezet is an Elite class champion for the second time in a career. Aurelien Panis conquered the Electric class after he finished as a vice-champion in the previous two seasons.
