Morbidelli started the first race from the pole position, converting it into dominant win after 19 laps. He made a perfect start and led from lights to flag. Daniel Lloyd (Lukoil Craft Bamboo, Seat Leon) claimed his first podium finish with a second place, while Rob Huff (Leopard Racing, VW Golf) finished in the third place, defending his podium position from the attacks of James Nash. Morbidelli’s teammate Giacomo Altoe finished fifth, while Stefano Comini progressed from 17th on the grid to sixth.

None of the top-three drivers in the standings – Attila Tassi, Roberto Colciago and Jean-Karl Vernay – didn’t score points. Vernay was penalized because he pushed Tassi into gravel.

The Race 2 was marked by massive pile-up immediately after a start. The race was red flagged. Eigth drivers missed the restart because of extensive damage on their cars – Colciago, Nash, Altoe, Oriola, Huff, Engstler, Paulsen and Panis.

Mato Homola (DG Sport Competition, Opel Astra) started the race from pole due to reversed grid and led until the last lap, when Gianni Morbidelli stole the victory. Prior to that, Morbidelli managed to pass Jean-Karl Vernay (Leopard Racing) and Daniel Lloyd, who finished in the third and fourth place respectively. Stefano Comini rounded the top 5.
