Valentino Rossi beats Hyundai stars for a victory at Monza Rally Show

MotoGP superstar Valentino Rossi is the winner of the 2017 Monza Rally Show which took place this weekend at Autodromo Nazionale Monza. This is sixth victory for Rossi at Monza Rally Show.

Driving the #46 Ford Fiesta WRC and navigated by Carlo Cassina, Rossi beats a pair of Hyundai Motorsport WRC stars – Andreas Mikkelsen and Thierry Neuville, who had unusual roles in this event – Mikkelsen was a driver and Neuville was a navigator in the #11 Hyundai i20 WRC. After nine special stages over three days, they finished 5.7 seconds behind Rossi.

Third-placed crew are Marco Bonanomi and Gigi Pirollo in the #3 PH Sport Citroen DS3 WRC, who finished 8.4 seconds behind a winners. Motocross superstar Tony Cairoli and his navigator Danilo Fappani finished fourth in the #222 Hyundai i20 WRC.
