Maiden GP3 Series victory for Giuliano Alessi

Giuliano Alesi of Trident racing team scored his maiden GP3 Series victory after being fastest in the Race 2 at Silverstone Circuit.

The young Frenchman triumphed in the very close event. He led from the start of the race and finished just 0.7s ahead of Jack Aitken while Niko Kari took the 3rd position finishing further 0.7s behind. The championship leader George Russell had to settle for the 4th place.

Arjun Maini, Alessio Lorandi, Kevin Jorg, and Anthoine Hubert picked the remaining points in the second race of the weekend.
