GP3 Series: First win of the season for Jack Aitken

British driver Jack Aitken scored his first win of the 2017 GP3 Season after being fastest in the first race at Hungaroring.

The ART Grand Prix driver started from pole position and kept his lead before the Safety Car was deployed after Arjun Maini and Tatiana Calderon stopped on track. Soon after, Championship leader George Russell retired while Steijn Schothorst was another driver who stopped on track what caused VSC period.

The ART Grand Prix driver had a comfortable lead to his teammates Nirei Fukuzumi and Anthoine Hubert and eventually triumphed with a margin of 4.4s to Fukuzumi and 8.8s to Hubert.
