F2: Matsushita comfortably wins race 2 at Hungaroring

The ART Grand Prix driver Nobuharu Matsushita won the FIA Formula 2 Championship race 2 at Hungaroring what is his second win of the season.

Matsushita took the lead at the start and quickly built an advantage to Luca Ghiotto and Nyck de Vries. Japanese driver led throughout the whole race and even after making a big mistake on lap 13 but behind him was a great battle.

On lap 20 Ghiotto dropped to the 5th place after being overtaken by de Vries, Oliver Rowland and the championship leader Charles Leclerc. However, Matsushita’s lead never was in doubt and he took the chequered flag beating Rowland by a margin of 4.3s while de Vries completed the podium.
