Daniele Di Amato, Chris Froggatt, and Johnny Laursen celebrated victories on the second day of Ferrari Challenge Europe at Hungaroring.

Di Amato confirmed his fine form and after winning the first race of the weekend, he added another triumph to his account. The Italian driver of the CDP team led from the start of the race and triumphed with a margin of 3.2s to Octane 126 driver Fabio Leimer. Alessandro Vezzoni completed the podium after a big battle with Andrea Gagliardini, Sam Smeeth, and Philipp Baron. After another win, Di Amato leads the championship standings ahead of Leimer.

Chris Froggatt scored his maiden Ferrari Challenge Europe victory. He took the lead after the championship leader Martin Nelson went into a spin and without too much pressure won the race ahead of Jens Liebhauser and Joshua Cartu.

Coppa Shell

In the last race of the weekend in Hungary, Johnny Laursen triumphed after starting from pole position. The Formula Racing team driver held off his rivals and triumphed with a solid margin to two Ineco MP Racing drivers – Thomas Gostner and Erich Prinoth.

The Ladies’ Cup went to Tina Kok (Formula Racing).
