Audi Sport TT Cup: First win of the season for Mikel Azcona

Mikel Azcona grabbed his first win in the 2017 Audi Sport TT Cup after being fastest in the opening race at Norisring.

Azcona was the pole sitter, ahead of the championship leader Philip Ellis while Yannik Brandt and Milan Dontje started from the second row. The Spanish driver led from the start, built a big advantage and took the chequered flag easily.

Ellis finished 2nd, 7.4s behind the winner, and kept his lead in the standings, while Milan Dontje completed the podium.
