Kfzteile24's Vanthoor and Stoll fastest in the race 2 at Red Bull Ring

Laurens Vanthoor and Florian Stoll, the drivers of kfzteile24’s Audi #24 are the winners of the ADAC GT Masters race 2 at Red Bull Ring.

Callaway Competition’s Corvette #77 started from pole position and led in the first half of the race but in the second half dropped to the second position, behind kfzteile24’s #24 Audi. The race was running under the safety car several times so we couldn’t see much of proper racing until the last 10 minutes.

Jules Gounon in #77 Corvette pushed hard to overtake Florian Stoll in #24 Audi, but Jordan Lee Pepper in Abt’s #7 Bentley and Remo Lips in the RWT Racing’s Corvette also were very close and waited for their chance to attack.

However, Stoll was calm enough to resist all the attacks and score first victory in 2016. Only 0.907s behind was Corvette #77 of championship leaders Daniel Keilwitz and Jules Gounon while Abt’s Bentley #7 Bentley with Daniel Abt and Jordan Lee Pepper, who missed Saturday’s race, completed the podium.
