The hour long qualifying race started with four car accident when 3 Audis crashed with each other hitting the wall and making a problem for other cars. Two of those cars belonged to Belgian Audi Team which was ironic for them to crash on their home track. However, the Belgian Audi Team had reasons for celebration later since the Vanthoor was victorious and won the race. The Belgian ace was never really threatened and led the race from the beginning. He managed to use the crash on first lap to get away from the rest of the pack. The Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 was second (Marco Seefried, Norbert Siedler) and Bentley Continental GT3 was third with Vincent Abril and Maximilian Buhk behind the wheel.
