Victories for Ticktum, Schumacher, Vips in Formula 3 races at Silverstone

Dan Ticktum (Motopark), Mick Schumacher (Prema Theodore Racing) and Juri Vips (Motopark) are the winners of three Formula 3 European Championship races in the sixth round of the season at Silverstone.

For Ticktum, it was the fourth win of the season and he’s the championship leader after eighteen races. Schumacher scored his second F3 victory after a triumph in the previous round at Spa while Vips also have two wins on his account and he’s third in the championship points, behind Ticktum and Marcus Armstrong (Prema Theodore Racing).

In Race 1, Sacha Fenestraz started from pole but finished second behind Ticktum. Enaam Ahmed completed the podium in the first race. In Saturday’s Race 2, Schumacher took the victory in front of Juri Vips and Jonathan Aberdein. On Sunday, Vips won the race ahead of Fenestraz and Aberdein.

The next F3 Europe round is scheduled for August 25-26 at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy.
